Twitter is failing a lot.
Statistics released by HitWise revealed that this failing doesn’t hurt twitter’s traffic.

It just may be that because of this failing twitter gets more traction in community and thus even more traffic. Fail whale has even page in making on wikipedia.
Maybe other microblogging services should fail more…
